| Hi Gang: I got to visit Bob in the hospital last night for a while. He's doing as well as can be expected, as you can tell. Probable surgery to finish it tomorrow AM...lots of foam-friendly CA needed. At least they are using state of the art materials...the black tubes on the metal brace seen are carbon fiber for weight savings; he has a stainless steel pin through his heel and two more screwed through his leg down to the bone. He's in good spirits and can hardly wait to get back to flying....as you can see. More later, JHA |
