New Pilot Training
Every Tuesday from the first Tuesday in May, until the last Tuesday in September, at 5:00 p.m. is reserved for new pilots. Weather permitting, training instructors and new pilots only should be flying. Others may fly only if the Training Marshall gives the 'O.K. to fly', while new pilots are on the ground.
Outside of this scheduled program, there are also CMAC Club experienced pilots who are willing to help new members get started. Don't hesitate to ask for help, but please respect the wishes of those who don't wish to assist new pilots.

Meetings

The Corsair Model Aircraft Club (CMAC) meetings are held on the first Thursday of each month.

From May through September the CMAC Club meetings are held at 7:00 PM at the Summit County Ohio Fairgrounds flying field. |

From October through April the CMAC club meetings are held at 7:00 PM at the Lion's Club hall in Tallmadge, Ohio (near Akron). |

We have another event for our club to show off our hobby and ask people for support for our flying field.
This time it will be at the Hartville Market Place on November 1, 2008. I am asking members to contact me (Charlie) at 330-929-5630 if they would like to display their aircraft. They must stay with their aircraft to answer any questions. If we get enough members we could have some in the morning and some in the afternoon. Here are two information sheets:
